A home with heart
Some beach houses are built for investment. Peace of Paradise was built for life.
In 2001, Colin and Charmaine Pinker fell in love with the Stilbaai coastline and created a simple, honest family holiday home — chosen for memories, not perfection.
In 2015, it was thoughtfully renovated to add comfort while keeping what matters. The finishes changed. The soul stayed.
Today, Peace of Paradise remains a true family beach house: warm, relaxed, and lived-in — the kind of place where you arrive, exhale, and let the ocean set the pace.
Whether you’ve loved Stilbaai for years or you’re discovering it for the first time, you’re welcome here — with open doors, ocean air, and that feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be.

The best you can hope forPosted on Zanell GreylingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Beautiful beach house literally right on the beach. Neat and very modern. Perfect place to spend quality time with your family.Posted on BlondeZuluTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Peace of Paradise is exactly what the name promises. The house sits right on the sand — not “near” the beach, not “across the road”… actually on it. You wake up to the sound of waves, step outside, and you’re already where you want to be. It doesn’t get more beachfront than this. For a family holiday, the setup is perfect — relaxed, comfortable and made for easy living. One of the best parts about staying here is how much there is to do close by. Stilbaai has a really special charm to it — from fishing off the harbour wall, to pumping prawns in the Goukou River, to walking Skulpies beach and finding little shells you can’t leave behind. A real highlight was lunch at Kleinbergskloof — absolutely worth the visit — and don’t leave without a bottle (or three) of their signature olive oil. But honestly, the real luxury was being right on the beach. The kids lived outside, and we had front-row seats to every sunrise and long, lazy day. It felt wholesome, simple and incredibly grounding — the kind of holiday you remember for all the right reasons. A beautiful home, an unbeatable location, and a town that still feels real. Highly recommended.Posted on DermoGloTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stilbaai truly lives up to its name — peaceful, pristine and unbelievably beautiful. The beaches are immaculate, the water is crystal clear, and the town still has that charming, small-coastal-village feel that so many places have lost. We loved exploring the little coffee spots — Hulle, Freedom Bread Café, and Coffee & Cream quickly became favourites. Each one has its own personality and adds to the town’s warm, friendly atmosphere. December in Stilbaai is buzzing in the best way… from beach runs and the Touch Rugby festival to Anything That Floats and the Trans Agulhas Challenge — there is always something happening. It’s one of those rare towns where there really is something for everyone. But for our family, the real highlight was staying at Peace of Paradise — quite literally right on the sand. The kids spent most of the day outside: bodyboarding, swimming, playing volleyball on the beach… the kind of wholesome holiday you hope for but rarely get. Sunrise views were absolutely magical — the kind that stop you in your tracks. It was a refreshing, grounding, memory-making holiday in the most incredible location. We’ll definitely be back. — MoPosted on Warren YunnieTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Unbelievable holiday home on the beach with everything you need to totally relax. Step off balcony onto the sand or we could watch the kids play in the sea from the deck. Amazing place, will be back.
